Feline Strike version 1.4 includes support for the newly released Windows 10 Mobile, as well as some improvements and new features. Although Feline Strike could be downloaded onto Windows 10 phones before this release, it had not been tested and some bugs were present.
New Integrations and Controls
Feline Strike will now administer ads when docking at a station, if you are playing the trial version. But, I have expanded the universe to include a little more storyline in the trial version. I am using AdDuplex, which is an awesome platform to freely market your game by showing ads in your apps.
Also, Feline Strike has been built for the new Windows 10 build, and is running a newer version of MonoGame, the framework that it runs on. The previous version had a problem with input devices, but now that’s fixed. So, I’ve added gamepad and joystick support. The new content manager is also more efficient at compressing assets, so the game size is smaller and the memory usage has been reduced a bit.
Fixes for Mobile Devices
The main error was an incorrect screen size sensing. This caused the UI elements to be out of place and obscured the users view of other controls. This problem only occurred in the mobile version and has been resolved with the new version.
Hope you enjoy the new changes and support, and I’ll see you next time.
